Recently we were made aware that a malicious third party had duplicated our website, fultonbank.com, and more importantly our BOSS access site in what is essentially a phishing attempt. An email was sent by Fulton last night to all customers to alert them of the issue, if you received this email titled "Fraud Website Alert" we can confirm it is legitimate.
- This email was sent by our email vendor from this address: "Fulton Bank, N.A. enews@em.fultonbank.com"
- We included our website address in the email, and some browsers automatically replace the URL for fultonbank.com in the email with the longer-form URL. So, although the URL may look suspicious, it is in fact legitimate.
- An exact copy of the email is attached below if you would like to confirm.
Please note that no customer information was compromised, this notice is just to serve as a warning against accidentally using your login credentials on a fraudulent website.
For the time being please use the following best practices for accessing our website and online services:
- Do not conduct an internet search to access our website or online banking.
- Instead, please manually type our site into your browser directly when needed, see example below.
- Keep in mind that we will never contact you by phone, text, or email asking you to provide any personal information or login credentials.
If you have any questions, or have been contacted by a scammer, please contact us by sending a secure message or by calling our Direct Banking Center at 1-800-385-8664.
